Domaine Michel Mallard, Aloxe Corton Toppe Vert Size:6x750ml but with striking inner sweetness bold and muscular effort but with striking inner sweetness and depth The cool and airy nose is earthier still with its array of red and blue pinot fruit where a touch of crushed fennel lurks in the background There is fine richness and concentration to the powerful and muscular big bodied flavors that coat the palate with sappy dry extract that contrasts somewhat with the long but somewhat lean finish Moderately generous wood sets off the cooler and reserved nose that blends notes of both red and dark currant aromas that are liberally cut with earth and forest floor elements
